When was ITIL Created ?
ITIL, also known as the Information Technology Infrastructure Library, has a rich history. It was first established in the 1980s by the Central Computer and Telecommunications Agency (CCTA), which was a government agency in the United Kingdom.
Its purpose was to create a standardized framework for IT service management within the UK government. Since then, ITIL has undergone numerous revisions and updates, culminating in its latest version, ITIL 4, which came out in 2019.
The evolution of ITIL over the years has been an exciting journey filled with continuous improvement and innovation.
